"About Escapism; was an audience participation project exploring peoples' escapism, what it meant to them and how it manifests for them. The outcome was a 600 pg A6 book that was hand-bound by me. The pure mass and physicality of the end result was quite moving.
Data Matrix of all responses collected from my escapism survey. This data was then collated and translated into the 600 pg book you see above and below. The data created a starting point for multiple experimentations involving how the responses were presented and perceived through the medium of print and scale.
