ELSEWHERE FROM HERE //
Elsewhere from Here is an on-going project whereby unique imaginary spaces are created from the essence and desire to escape. Escapism touches the core of a lot of my self-directed work as I often in myself feel overwhelmed by the outer world. To be able to reside in the calm and safety of these created places allows a small piece of rest-bite from the chaos that often surrounds us all at some point in our lives. Exploring the details or lack of details within the spaces (often designed with a minimalist standpoint) allows the viewer to immerse themselves into the piece, imagining the sound of the water or the sun on their skin. These pieces are here to serve the purpose the viewer applies to them. I know what they mean to me, what do they mean to you?
