'The visuals were created in reaction to the edited audio piece created by Jack D'Arcy. My intention for the animation was to create a fast paced visual tempo to mimic the words spoken.'
This piece is part of a project instigated during the first Lockdown in the spring of 2020. Words, images and drawings were collected from the general public in reaction to a question posed to them. This video's contributors were reacting to the question; "What was your last social gathering?". The contributions were then collected and collated by Georgia Brown where she sourced and brought together a sound designer/composer and a visual artist/animator to then work together over the period of 24hrs to create an audio-visual response.
